Kanpai! (乾杯(かんぱい)literally "dry cup"), sometimes transcribed Kampai!, is theJapanese word for "Cheers!" in a drinking toast. - Wikipedia
I've been travelling a lot recently to a point where my body clock doesn't know what's going on anymore.
From Los Angeles to Toronto then to Berlin for a couple of days then to Tokyo then Niigata and back to Berlin. This is all within six weeks.
The most recent of which gave me an experience I'll never forget including the most epic of hangovers.
My mission was to not only be a guest courtesy of Rallye Label (http://rallye-label.com/) and Tendre (http://rallye-label.com/artists/tendre/) but to also give a version of my curiosity.
1) Everything including music festivals in Japan is incredibly organized and clean.
2) There's a sense of purpose in every activity.
3) Finding balance and peace is an everyday struggle.
4) Charm and humour exist within the chaos of it all.
5) Sticking together matters too.
For three days, I gorged myself on culture, unlimited soba, and a lot of high balls.
For two of the days, I endured my very first typhoon.
For the last day, I was part of it all.
To be continued.
